| Comments: | First Watch serves some very tasty breakfast and lunch fare, but even when I go at lunchtime, I always order breakfast. Plenty of variety, good sized portions, plenty of coffee, and all very reasonably priced. One nice observation: the eggs aren't overcooked, the yolks are still runny. I don't know how they get away with that, but I love it! |

| Comments: | I have only ever eaten their breakfast items, which are
prefectly fine, but nothing outstanding. When we went this weekend though, the service was AWFUL. The absolute worst service I have received at a restaurant in some time. We were there at about 1pm on Sunday. From the moment we sat down, our waitress was rude. She almost snapped at my date, and cut off his questions. Refills, etc. were extremely slow in
coming. She was generally non-attentive throughout the meal. The worst part was when we were finished eating. We sat, napkins on plates for a good 15 minutes as she attended to other tables. Every time we tried to catch her eye, it was like she was purposefully ignoring us. We then heard her chatting with a co-worker in the back for another 10 minutes.
Finally, we just threw some money on the table and left, never having received our check. When we left, she was *still* yakking in the back. It was very bad, and I hope that all their servers are not this way! |

| Comments: | Great Waffles, pancakes, and the wait staff makes sure you have enough coffee. Great place to go to have an informal meeting over breakfast. Peak times, of course, mean long waits in line to be seated, so go at other times. |
