Comments: We went to Yahooz at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, but we had to wait 15 minutes just to have someone take our drink order. We waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. We then ordered. Our salads came in short order ... then we waited ... and waited ... and waited. I noticed our waiter (about 16 years old) sitting in the booth behind us visiting with his friends who had come in about 30 minutes after us. He got up and went to the kitchen only to come back with their food! We were still waiting! We ended up waiting over one hour just to get our food! No apology from the waiter ... I will never go there again. Oh, the food wasn't very good either.

Favorites: Barbeque Texas Gulf Shrimp, Kansas City Strip
Comments: We have dined at Yahooz several times. The mouth watering appetizers/entrees keeps us in anticipation for our next visit. The serivce is remarkable...friendly and attentive. The amazing aroma of the wood fire grill is a teasing sample of what is yet to come. For all shrimp lovers, the Barbeque Texas Gulf Shrimp appetizer is an absolute must. This is served with Cabot Farm Cheddar Cheese Grits and Rustic Pan Sauce, this wonderful combination is a succulent delight. We have always been overwhelmed with the extraordinary service and meals. Our waiter even had an extra shrimp added to our appetizer (comes with 5 jumbo shrimp)so there was no wrestling between my husband and I over that last shrimp. *smile* You may have a little bit of a wait to be seated on the weekends. However, we use that extra 45 - 55 minutes to visit the bookstore across the parking lot. I would highly recommend Yahooz.

Favorites: The Rack of Pork and the BACON!
Comments: The dining at Yahooz is wonderful! U can see the chefs preparing meals out in the open. The pork is top notch and is raised right here in Missouri. A little company called Alma's Meats delivers farm fresh pork and bacon. Can't rave enough about the bacon!

Comments: We were in Overland Park over the weekend and visited Yahooz for the first time 2/8/03. Even though the price was more than we typically pay for an evening out, everything from the ambience, to the quality of the food, and especially our server made for a memorable evening. Would recommend it highly.

Comments: First trip here was also my last. For these prices I would expect excellent food and service neither of which is the case here. Too bad, there is a lot of potential with this place; management should pay attention to their business.
