Comments: I have been going here for 6 years...sometimes 3 visits a week! It is a GREAT little BBQ joint. It switched owners a few years ago and had a small decline...but has since redeemed themselves. I always order the Large sausage sandwich. Their sausage is Scimecas I believe, which is made here in KC and is SO GOOD! Their BBQ sauce is almost a hybrid salsa BBQ sauce. It is chunky and delicious. Seating is limited but there are a few sturdy picnic tables outside with umbrellas. Truly quaint! Make your meal a basket for a buck or two extra and get a side and a drink. THEY HAVE RED CREAM SODA!!! Their beef brisket is really lean too...if you don't like sausage. I can't speak for any of their other meats!
