This place is better than Copelands and less expensive. Reminded me of the the old Cajun Seafood Resturant but the food was not as spicy. |

| Comments: | I ordered the beans & rice with sausage, there were about 5 very thin slices of sausage. The beans & rice left much to be desired. My
friend fared better with the blackened prime rib sandwich, which had a
nice flavor. Won't bother with this one again. |

| Comments: | During our dinner, a mouse was in the dining area. Obviously, it was used to people because it ate a shrimp on the floor in plain site. The
waitress was scared of the mouse, the manager on duty tried to catch it
with her hands, and the cook came out to catch it too. It went behind the
bar. We were required to pay our bill even though we had hardly eaten. The
mouse killed our appetite. It took three days to get ahold of actual
manager, and he will only give us free dinner at our next visit.. Will not
refund our previous uneaten meal. Wonder what is in kitchen if mouse in
dining room and bar??? No I will NOT go back there ever again. |

| Comments: | Have tried this place three times and found the food to be good on each of my visits, with the exception of the red beans and
rice,(popeye's blows it away! ). The downfall here is the service; between
unattentive (wait staff) and downright rude (bartender). The staff
attitude ruined this place for me. It is too bad as I believe that big
daddy's looks authentic, the food was decent, has a good location and
could really shine if the managment was on hand (they weren't on my LAST
visit) to correct some obvious service problems. |
