Restaurant: Iliki Cafe Location: 6431 N Cosby Ave (north of the river)
Cuisine: MediterraneanPrice: $$ inexpensive
Ambience: *** excellentNotes: Funky middle eastern carpets hanging on the walls
Food: **** superbNotes: The food was outstanding- better than other mid-east cafes
Service: **** superbNotes: The server/owner was very personable and knowledgeable.
Favorites: homeade cheesecake, fresh hummus, garlic sauce
Comments: This is the first time I have been to Iliki, and definitely not the last. Every part of the meal was enjoyable, and the staff was excellent. The owner was able to suggest wines for the meal and was very friendly. And- they let you relax and enjoy your meal- they don't try to run you out after you've finished. Everyone should try it.

Restaurant: Iliki CafeLocation: 64th & Cosby (Northland)
Cuisine: MediterraneanPrice: $$$ moderate
Ambience:  Notes: Nice space
Food: *** excellentNotes: Fresh with creative flavor combinations
Service:  Notes: Varies... Owner is kind. Heavy, red head waitress is rude!
Favorites: Red pepper dip
Comments: This place is wonderful. However, I will no longer eat here. The red headed waitress has always been extremely rude. She is pushy with trying to get you to order more food. She is very impolite and is not truly intouch with the customers needs. The last time I at dinner at this place, she yelled at me very loudly, and the owner who was aware something was going on, never came over to see what up. There is a dark cloud at Iliki!

Favorites: muhammara dip, spinach pie entree (a special item)
Comments: I've eaten at Illiki since they moved North, and it's been fun to see the restaurant evolve. Their menu is larger and even more varied. I always try something from the "Specials" list. The wine selection has grown into a truly special list of wines. I highly recommend this place.

Restaurant: Iliki Cafe Location: northland
Cuisine: Middle Eastern, MediteraneanPrice: $$$ moderate
Ambience: * averageNotes:
Food: * averageNotes: Gyros adequate but not up to par with competition
Service: poorNotes: We took our two children. We were obviously unwelcome
Favorites:
Comments: While looking for a gyro place up north we were advised to check this place out. Upon ariving with our two children (ages 5 and 6) we were placed in the very back corner. Waitress was very rude and almost hostile with our children, most likely due to the fact that they were slow in ordering. Food does not warrant a return trip. :(
