| Comments: | We made a reservation for a large group. We went over our estimate by 6 people - this was a funeral dinner. There were plenty of tables near our area, but the owners daughter who was in charge was very flustered. She told us we have more than we called for and when we asked her "what do you want us to do leave?", she stated, "if you want to". She was very nasty when she said it. In a customer service environment the least she could have said was something to the effect that, "you have more people than we expected, but we will try to accomodate you. But she just didn't want to hassle with us. As I stated this was a family's funeral dinner, a traditional one in our family that is always held at Manny's when a member of our family passes away. We will never go there again. |

| Comments: | The word "authenic" is used a lot in reviews, especially when referring to Mexican cuisine. There is no one "authenic" Mexican food because each area of the country has it's own blend of ingredients, and it's all about what you prefer. As far as Manny's style of Mexican cooking....it's Number One in our book! My family has eaten at Manny's for years and have never found another Mexican restaurant in the entire KC Metro area that even comes close to the superior quality of Manny's. Not only is the food the best, the service also rates at the very top! Keep up the good work Manny!!! |
