Favorites: #7 Rancho Grande Special
Comments: Newer Northland restaurant across from the new Tom Watson golf course on 45 Hwy. This place is great for everyone. The house special is the #7, Rancho Grande burrito. It is huge! 12" tortilla stuffed with melt in your mouth pork, refried beans, and cheese. Bet you can't finish it! Lot's of great menu items to choose from. You will not be left disappointed, or hungry here!

Service: * averageNotes: usually good; AWFUL today- by owner!!
Favorites: Combo Platter
Comments: HORRIBLE problem with flies. I killed two ON my son'splate.Owner stated she could "do nothing about it,the delivery person must have left the door open."VERY BAD FAMILY MEAL EXPERIENCE! They have lost my family as customers.Of course, we couldn't finish our meal,(flies everywhere!!) and owner only removed cost of my son's burrito-the one I killed TWO flies on!! Owner was completely unconcerned about the situation and acted as if we were an inconvenience for even mentioning the hoard of flies!!!!

Comments: This restaurant has a lot of potential. It had great chips and salsa, but lacked the ambiance of an authentic Mexican restaurant.

Favorites: #10
Comments: My family have went to Rancho Grande since it opened. One thing I have noticed is that when we order our food it is never prepared the same. I like the # 10 but every other time it is very greasy. The other
comment I have is that we ordered food for take out and I didn't recieve the tortillas. I called in to let them know. I was not told that they were sorry or actually even cared about the mistake, instead I was told thank you and then the phone was hung up! This is unacceptable and very poor customer service. I don't think it would have been to difficult to say they had made a mistake or mention that they were sorry for the error. There will not be a next time for my family. Thank you for your time.

Restaurant: Rancho GrandeLocation: Parkville, Liberty, Platte City
Cuisine: MexicanPrice: $$ inexpensive
Ambience: * averageNotes: PC and Liberty are newer/nicer
Food: *** excellentNotes: consistent, great-tasting food - even when it is busy
Service: ** very goodNotes: prompt, friendly service
Favorites: cheese & onion enchiladas, tacos, and rice
Comments: We have tried all 3 locations, and each one has the same consistently GREAT food. Service has always been very good at each, even when it is busy. The most we have waited (as non-smokers) for seating is about 20-30 minutes, and it is always worth it. We live nearly equal distance to all 3, but usually choose the Liberty location, as the seating at the other 2 feels a bit more "crammed in". This is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in KC. Go for Taco Tuesdays!!
