Comments: We tried the new Jumpin' Catfish north of the river, however it was so incredibly crowded, it turned out to be a complete disaster. I wonder if the KC Fire Marshall knows of this place! There was no place to sit or stand comfortably while waiting on your table. The waitresses and hostesses had to squeeze through to get to tables. After all this, the service was quite poor and unattentive and the food only average. I'll not go back.

Comments: This was a great place to eat. The All-You-Can Eat Southern Fried Chicken ($9.50) was outstanding and included mashed potatoes and gravy which also were very good. My wife had the Grilled Duck ($11.95) and thought it was the best she had ever had. I tasted it and had to agree with her. They also serve up bowls of hush puppies, cole slaw and ham and beans family style to start you off. I thought all of them were very good also. The cole slaw is sweet but grows on you after a while. My son had a hamburger and fries off the kids menu and it was average. The building inside reminds you of a log cabin with a large collection of wildlife displays. Very cool! Servers were very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant as a great place to go for good food and great atmosphere.
