Comments: We went to Morton's to celebrate our anniversary expecting something special. It just didn't happen. Food was poorly prepared and overpriced, service was friendly, but poor. Capitol Grille or Plaza Three provide better food and crisper service and atentio to detail. We would not go back.

Restaurant: Mortons of ChicagoLocation: Crown Center
Cuisine: SteakPrice: $$$$ expensive
Ambience: *** excellentNotes: Very Nice
Food: ** very good Notes: Prepared very nice
Service: poorNotes: Unusual for this type of restaurant
Favorites: Fish
Comments: Went for a birthday. Had reservations, had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated. General lack of attentiveness. Prices too high for this type of service. Manager was made aware of problem. One steak was not cooked properly and had to be sent back twice. They should have given some discount for the poor steak but didn't. At these prices consumers are expecting perfection in meals and service.

Restaurant: Mortons of ChicagoLocation: Crown Center
Cuisine: SteakhousePrice: $$$$ expensive
Ambience: ** very goodNotes: very dimly lit, nice woodwork
Food: *** excellentNotes: Good Selection
Service: * averageNotes: Attentive, sometimes too attentive
Favorites: Strip, creamed spinach
Comments: Morton's is most likely the best steakhouse I've been to in a while. The way they prepare their steaks is far superior to that of Ruth Chris Steakhouse (unless you enjoy your steak swimming in butter sauce). Perfectly seasoned. Great wine. Good choice for any event
